Mental Health Advocate for Haitians (MHAH) provides resources to Haitians in our diaspora communities. We serve as a way to link practitioners and organizations together and reduce the stigmatization found with persons living with a disability among the families. MHAH provides awareness by discussing issues related to autism, anxiety and other disorders through videos, books, and webinars.
No, anyone can become a member when we start taking membership. Although the focus is to support our practitioners in the behavioral and mental health field, we also provide support to families such as parenting classes that are free of charge both in English and the Haitian Creole. We thank you for your support as we are building our community with one leader at a time.
